Christian Surfers Spain

Christian Surfers Spain started with some contacts in the Northern Spain lead by Hiucif Rahim and a contact family from CSI. Some years later, in 2009 the first 'informal’ gathering took place. This was where the basis and the vision of the national movement was set. ‘Genesis’ was the theme for the first National Gathering in 2010 in Zarautz and this marked the official start of CSE. One year later, Marc Pradales was named National Director.

Since then a base group has been developed in Barcelona and numerous contacts established throughout the coast and the islands.

Many volunteer activities and social action initiatives are carried out in different areas of the surfing community: beach cleanups, surf lessons for disabled people, participation in championships and local events, support for Christian surfers in competition, and other community activities such as Bible studies, discipleship, the annual national gathering, regional surf trips, etc.

Currently there are two projects related to Christian Surfers Spain - Oasis Surf House in Lanzarote (Mark and Lydia Sawyer-Chu) and Olabe (Joseba and Joanna Attard).
