Christian Surfers Event Service seeks to positively impact surfers in competitive surfing and other events
From competition at the highest levels, to grassroots events at your local beach, we encourage you to find a way to serve the surfing community near to you. As Jesus said, “…whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be a slave of all. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and give his life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:43-45 Christlike, loving service is at the core of Event Service.
Some ideas of ways to serve in your local capacity include:
Setup / teardown, comp admin (judging, tabulating, beach marshal), competing, media, food service, etc.
Hospitality (transportation, lodging, meals)
Chaplaincy (surf chaplaincy training is available through Global Sports Chaplaincy)
Other (movie night, surf industry/expo, surf art show, etc.)
