Tuesday Evening Session

It was time for the Europeans and Africans to take over on Tuesday evening as we welcomed our new EMEA area. There was many great stories shared of God at work through surfers on the continent of Africa, which has been described as surfing’s final frontier, as well as in the Indian Ocean Islands and of course, our host region of Europe.

Across many diverse nations in Europe, God is at work within the surfing community; from locally here in Hossegor, to the unique beaches of Holland and the UK, the frigid waters of Norway, Sweden and Denmark and the land-locked nations of Germany and Switzerland. It was awesome to hear the stories and share in the many cultures, with night being closed in a very special way with an accapella choir of CSUK members.

A major highlight, among many of the evening, was certainly the launch of the second edition of the French Surfers Bible.

In anticipation of the Gathering, CS France National Director Audrey Harrison has worked tirelessly to launch the Bible and there is still €6,000 to raise to cover production. Our goal is get the project across the line while we’re here. Donate now if you’d like to see the gospel furthered amongst French speakers.
