Wednesday Morning Session
The focus for the Wednesday morning session was on equipping and accountability.
Kicking off again with Brett and Gill Davis, we delved into what good mission looks like, before CSI board chair Marcus Judge talked us through the importance of governance and accountability.
Equipping is one of our big strategic ideas and operates on many levels, from our resources through to high level mentorship and involving things like Foundations Training, CSALT and gatherings. Our International Director Roy Harley talked us through the various levels involved.
The last heat of the day was given over to the financial duo of Casey Cruciano and Chandler Brownlee, who roped in some entertaining helpers to demonstrate responsibility with finances.
Electives were held around key topics including Chaplaincy, Surf Church, Groundswell Aid, Foundations Training, governance and being married on mission, with many making use of the beautiful facilities here at Cap Ocean and meeting amongst the trees.
