It was rainy. It was windy. But...there were waves! And that is the most important!
On 16 September 2017 Christian Surfers Holland organised their annual fundraiser, the SurfXperience. Learn to surf and raise money for those who are in need, that is the idea. This year we raised money for Aleph Surf in South Africa.
We were stoked to see the dedication with the grommets who are not grommets anymore. These boys and girls organised the whole event! There were cakes from a local coffee shop, event shirts, sponsor signs, instructors and of course surf gear, which our local surf school made available. About 60 participants (kids and adults) defied the waves of the North Sea. For the youngest participants it was too dangerous to ride waves, so they had fun on a bodyboard.
With this event we raised €1,350, which will go completely to Aleph as the whole event was sponsored!
Estaba lloviendo. Estaba ventoso. Pero… ¡habían olas! ¡y eso es lo mas importante!
El 16 de Septiembre 2017 Christian Surfers Holanda organizó su evento anual para recaudar fondos, The SurfXperience. Aprende a surfear y recaudamos dinero para ayudar a los necesitados, esa es la idea. Este año juntamos dinero para Aleph Surf en Sudáfrica.
Nos animó mucho ver la dedicación de los grommets que ya no son tan grommets ¡Estos chicos y chicas organizaron todo el evento! Habían tortas de una cafetería local, poleras del evento, letreros de auspiciadores, instructores y por supuesto equipo de surf, que fue prestado por una escuela de surf local. Unos 60 participantes (niños y adultos) desafiaron las olas de mar Norte. Para los participantes mas jóvenes era muy peligroso correr olas así que disfrutaron en los bodyboards.
Con este evento recaudamos €1,350, todos estos fondos van a Aleph ya que los costos del evento fueron cubierto por los auspicios.
