From the Calendar: April
We absolutely love calendar beautifully put together by the lovely Aaron Hughes. Every month, according to our prayer calendar, we will highlight different CS groups from around the globe to lift up in prayer. The month of April includes New Zealand, Japan, Taiwan and Thailand.
New Zealand
As you read this please pray for CSNZ as its going through significant growth with new missions popping up all over the country, which is a testament to your prayers! Pray that God will continue to soften the hearts of the Kiwi surfers and will raise up willing surfers to be Jesus’ hands and feet in their local communities. We have some super exciting plans for the near future so please also pray for wisdom on how to play all of these strategies out here in NZ. Our goal is that every Kiwi surfer knows a Christian Surfer!

Japan
Japan will host surfing in the Olympics for the first time ever and this is raising its profile in the nation. Christian Surfers Japan have formed a national team and slowly restored some structure but they lack a key national leader. As the world's largest unreached surfing population, there is a huge need and much potential. Some key churches have planned to contact one million new people heading towards the Olympics. Pray CS is part of this movement, for a key leader and for Olympic outreach preparation.

Taiwan
Two years ago our team moved into the largest surf community in Yilan. We have been working on building relationships, finding opportunities to serve, running surf camps, teaching water safety, serving at comps, doing our first overseas surf outreach to Korea, hosting events and just hanging out. As a result, CS Taiwan is growing and gaining momentum. We are excited and are believing that God can transform the Taiwan surfing community. Pray that we will persevere and keep moving forward in taking Jesus to Taiwanese surfers.

Thailand
Christian Surfers Thailand is now working in four different parts of Thailand, all working with different models of ministry. Through surf clubs, surf schools, education and friendships CS Thailand is now part of the fabric of the surf community in our nation. Pray for us as we seek to stay connected to each other and for perseverance in sharing the good news with surfers. Pray also for more workers for the harvest field so that we can see the gospel reach many more throughout the growing surf communities of our coastline!
