CS South Africa Serve at SA Junior Champs

Meet your 2021 SA Junior Champs Christian Surfers South Africa service team.

CSSA had a great opportunity to serve at the past Sea Harvest SA Junior Champs Presented by SMTH Shapes. They had 7 servant hearted men and woman that formed the team. The team members helped with beach marshalling, spotting, covid compliance, assisting the contest director and commentating. This was a great platform to connect behind the scenes with event officials and contestants.

The service team was up early every morning and the last to leave the event site. Consistent smiles and a radiance of joy could be seen from day 1 to day 5. Everyday we gathered in a time of prayer, either before an a event day started or after an a event day. As a team we felt like God had given us the awesome opportunity to serve the next generation of upcoming SA surfers. We also felt a significance in the fact that he brought all of the best junior surfers from around the country all under one roof.

Day 1 started off with rainy conditions but yet good waves to get the event up and off the ground. The event was blessed with waves over all 5 competition days. We want to thank @surfingsouthafrica for having us apart of the event. Well done to all the surfing districts and surfers. Well done to the event officials and sponsors for putting on a great event. We look forward to the next one.
