1.) Full name and where you’re from.

Doming Lorenzo O. Cui - SIARGAO Island Philippines

2.) Tell us a little bit about where you’re from and your local surf spot.

Siargao is a small island south of the Philippines. It’s famous for surfing and Cloud 9 break, where international (WSL QS) comps are held.

3.) How and when did you become a follow of Christ?

My wife always invited me to church. Until the day something happened, I cannot explain. It was 10 years ago.

4.) How has Christ rule and reign in your life impacted the way you live?

Im a totally new person. I try to do everything for His glory.

5.) What attracted you to Christian Surfers?

I’m a surfer and I want to share Jesus with other surfers. CS is a good example of an organisation that is Jesus-centered and is aimed at surfers.

6.) What inspired you to start a new Chapter/Mission?

On our island there are a lot of surfers that need Jesus, also here we use surfing to attract tourists to come, we want to use surfing for Jesus.

7.) What is your favourite verse and why?

Prov. 30:7-9 our daughter when she was 8 gave us our family verse.

8.) If a grom was to paddle up to you and ask: “who is Jesus?” - how would you sum up who Jesus is in one sentence?

Jesus is our Lord and savior, the son of God who created everything and whoever believes in him shall not perish and have eternal life.

9.) what is your vision for the future of your island and the nation of the Philippines?

For all surf towns in Philipines to have a CS and that we will have a big gathering every year!

12) what is the biggest “fail” you’ve had in ministry? 😂
