Lets help give the lovable, energetic and amazing Phil Williams a break 😁
Honouring Phil & Annie after 32 years serving others through CS
There are not many people who can say that they have faithfully served for 30+ years, but Phil Williams is just such a person. His warmth, love, wisdom, and compassion have been felt and experienced across the globe by so many, through his life of service. Phil and Annie and their family have shown unwavering commitment and as a family, they have made many sacrifices to serve the surfing community around the UK, Europe and the world.
Phil will be stepping down in Summer 2025 from his role as National Director of Christian Surfers UK (CSUK) . We are not losing the legend :) He will remain on as the regional coordinator for Europe and the Area facilitator for the EMEA area. YEW!!
We are excited to announce that Phil Williams has been encouraged to take a well-deserved sabbatical. This time away is crucial for his personal renewal and continued growth in his ministry.
To maximise this sabbatical, Phil plans to engage in various retreats, visitations, and training programs. However, these opportunities come with financial costs that Phil and Annie are currently unable to cover.
We are reaching out to our community to ask for your support, both in prayer and financially.
Your generous contributions will ensure that Phil’s sabbatical is a time of thanksgiving and spiritual rejuvenation, free from financial concerns.
By supporting him, you are investing in the future leadership and vision of Christian Surfers.
Support financially
The CS UK Board have a faith target of £5,000 for these three months for Phil so let’s get behind them to help make this possible. Together, we can help Phil step into this new chapter with clarity and purpose, ready to continue his impactful work. The Sabbatical runs for June, July & August 2024 and donations can be made during this time.
Thank you for considering this request.
Blessings, Christian Surfers
Message From Phil
“The last few months have been quite an emotional rollercoaster for Annie and I as we begin to come to terms with what this change and transition will mean. I suppose after 30+ years in the ministry the magnitude of this phase of transition is pretty large, which is why something like this sabbatical is so, so important. I have never considered it before, which may have been an error on my behalf, after charging hard for all these years, not really stopping and resting has been quite a challenge.”
