Hey, Kyle! You’ve signed up for the SHARE THE STOKE Surfathon on 28 October. Why are you so keen to be involved?

I’m participating in the Surfathon because I love the idea of bringing two things I love together: the Word of God and surfing.

It’s surfing with a greater purpose in mind. The wave is temporary but the Word is eternal. Riding waves may make me happy for a session but the Bible brings us to Jesus – and He brings joy forever.

“Faith comes through hearing and hearing through the Word of God.” – Romans 10:17

How did you get involved?

I was visiting my son in J-Bay when he was doing CSALT and I received a copy of the blue Surfers Bible. I loved the idea of surfers’ testimonials connected with the Scriptures. When I heard of the new printing and the digital complement being developed, I was sold on the idea!

Why are you supporting the Surfers Bible project?

The new Surfers Bible has a special place in my heart because people are in desperate need of truth and the Bible is truth! Getting these printed and in the hands of needy souls is worth my time, energy and resources.

Maybe remove 'just' as he did it a while ago - just being picky!!
