Thursday Morning Session
Our Thursday morning session was filled with surprises, with pumping surf, two special guest and a whole lot of fun!
Kicking off the morning for the final time was our main speakers, Brett & Gill Davis, sharing on how we keep the balance of family on mission. They had many pearls of wisdom to share and it would be well worth your while to watch their full sessions in the heat analyzer.
The first of our special guests, Eddie Waxer, has pioneered sports ministry internationally for decades and been a major advocate for Christian Surfers. It was great to hear some of his insight as BD interviewed him.
Next up was pro-surfer Bianca Buitendag and WSL & ISA commentator Shannon Hughes talking about the benefits and challenges of walking a life of faith in the surf industry.
The final heat of the morning was given to local hero Jean Marc Saint Geours of Handisurf who shared his story of working with adaptive surfers, a great challenge for us to broaden our horizons as we consider every surfer!
The early afternoon was again given to electives and great wisdom was shared and conversation shared across the six different streams.
