Christian Surfers South Africa - Regional Camp
Christian Surfers South Africa recently enjoyed a regional camp on the beautifully desolate town of Lamberts Bay on the West Coast of South Africa. Although the water was colder than the arctic circle, the presence of Jesus amongst his people warmed the soul.
Here’s a little writeup from a key member of CS Cape Town, Clayton Coetzee:
"Coming onto the camp, I came with the expectation that I was going to expect the unexpected. Besides the physical rest I got, God also gave me a spiritual rest. Learnt some valuable lessons, that is to listen intentionally to when someone speaks about their testimony, it's not about beating the person with something better.
Secondly, God will use the unexpected moments to speak and we should listen always. Sometimes in silence other times when it's noisy. My favorite example being woken at 5:30am by one of Bryces Lil groms, screaming "wake up for Jesus" whilst banging on a pan. A good spiritual reminder how Jesus will do that in our lives when we don't wanna spend time with him. "
