Pray for your global tribe in July
Join your global family this month to pray for local surf missions, so that every surfer in every surfing community will have the opportunity to know and follow Jesus…
COSTA RICA: Like other countries, Costa Rica stopped face-to-face meetings and experienced beach closures because of COVID-19, which impacted every activity. However, we saw God take control. By using social media, your Christian Surfers crew continued Bible studies, devotionals and leadership training virtually. Adjusting to this “new normal” has brought challenges such as a change in leadership and finding new places to start chapters. Our prayer is that together we can continue spreading the Good News of Jesus and impact lives for His Kingdom. Thank you for praying with us!
GUATEMALA: Thank God for opportunities to share the Gospel and make disciples in new circumstances. Praise God for brothers and sisters like you around the world who knew we were having difficult times and helped feed the neediest among us. God is always in control. This past year was a great reminder to value life and all the good things Jesus does every day for each one of us. Thank you for your help and prayers... and thank you, Jesus!
EL SALVADOR: El Salvador was hit by the pandemic, then a big storm destroyed most of our coastline. Nevertheless, we could see God’s goodness looking after each surfer and their family. Now there is a need in their hearts to seek God. Please pray with us that He provides more hands and resources to bring the message of salvation to our beaches.
PANAMA: Panama is a small but beautiful country in Central America surrounded by warm tropical waters. This is a blessed country as the surfing community has the chance to surf in two oceans, Atlantic and Pacific, because Panama is surrounded by them on each side. Come visit us, we will be happy to have you here! Please pray for our situation because COVID-19 has struck our ministry badly. Pray for us as leaders that we continue to seek direction from the Lord. Pray for our finances. It was a difficult year.
